This unit has Halo rockets which gives splash damage and seriously can be efficient against light air units.Valkyrie is frequently used to kill against heavy ships but basically the Valkyrie is designed against light units like Mutalisks or Wraiths.The vehicle can not attack ground so if the map is not island based producing lots of Valkyries will not be so wise.After the design of Terran Valkyrie in Brood War, the air balance is obtained.But in Starcraft 2 we do not see these vehicles we think that the reason is the other vehicles that may take the place of Valkyries.
