At the beginning of the game if you recon very fastly and early you will have a chance to take the opponent’s vespene geyser which gives you a good vision for scouting and prevents enemies’ technological development.By just giving 100 minerals you will have lots of advantages;the growth of enemy civilization will be decelerated,the psycological effect will damage the enemy construction and it forces to change the starategy of the rival.But always remember that this is not the meaning of victory,it can be easily turned against you by smart or routine moves.We suggest that using this maneveur with the surprise effected tactics or you can use this ability to aid your main strategy because only taking rival’s vespene may not be usefull for you.And in some situations like fast zealot tactics which is used by enemy do not take the vespene!It will probably gives you harm.So we can say that if you use this tactic at the correct time and place you will totaly have good results.
